Scope of Serivces Provided
Our firm provided front end planning services for a portfolio of projects that the plant was planning to undertake and developed all documentation to define the individual project scope, execution plan, schedule, and cost estimate for this project
Scope of Work
Front end planning services were provided for:
- Automation of existing injection systems
- Evaluation and developing options to determine what modifications could be made to enable the all the naphtha to vaporize, 4 options total
- Evaluation of 2 possible locations for WWTP, and determine what utilities are required.
- Determine pump types that are more situatable for pumping asphalt and provide new infrastructure for the pumps to operate effectively which include steam quenches, and new power supplies.
Development of documentation to define project scope, execution plan, schedule and cost estimate consisted of:
- Replacement of 4 injection systems in the #1 and #2 Reformers.
- Evaluation of the Naphtha Unifiner for a drypoint in the radiant section and develop options to eliminate.
- Adding a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) on site to remove solids.
- Replacing/upgrading 8 existing pumps and relocate 2 existing pumps within the asphalt distribution system.
