The client is a Global Healthcare Leader located in the Southwest, U.S. and a top Fortune-100 company.

SCOPE OF work

The project provided the capability to accommodate assembly of medical devices in a recently acquired building. The building is approximately 350,000 SF with four levels. The plan included resurrecting the existing architectural and utility systems and replacing with new, as necessary. The goal was to have functional areas for receiving, warehousing, instrument assembly, incoming quality assurance, quality control and office administration.

Scope of Service Provided

The client engaged our firm to provide front-end planning and engineering services necessary to renovate a building.

Our team provided Architecture, Civil engineering, Construction Assistance, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection, HVAC Landscape Architecture, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Structural services.

Results

To layout and retrofit the new spaces, due diligence sessions were completed with focus groups. Programming included personnel projections, space standards, and a concept plan for design teams, end users and an executive committee. Our team followed up the programming with a schematic design, design development and construction documents.
